Here's my thought, with the murder rate of transwomen of color being so high this year, it would be incredibly insensitive to release this film because it does try to erase transwomen of colors direct involvement in starting and even leading parts of the riots. I'm not boycotting, I'm going to protest this films release at my local movie theatres. Boycotting is too passive, fuck that we need to be heard outright that we've had enough of being left behind. Being passive got us thrown in the back seat, rioting got us respect enough to change laws.
