CCNY: BILINGUAL EDUCATION PRAXIS,, WHITE LIBERALS, CUBAN BOURGEOISIE, PEOPLES OF COLOR AND PUERTO RICAN COLONIALS

The story of how a teacher education project with strong roots in its communities gradually got rid of its anti colonial Puerto Rican faculty and students, changed its focus from a community based theory formulation, and active/integrated educational practices (praxis) approach into a traditional academia degree granting program with a compensatory education vision as its underlying ideology.
