HIPSTERS, GENTRIFICATION AND TRUMP

There is a strong statistical and ideological correlation between hipsters, trendiness, gentrification and the displacement of working class people, and the Trumpian populist movement's ascendacy to power.Trendiness does not occur in a vacuum. It requires a certain mood, a sense of the equal (the trendy) versus the other (the poor), and it is in such a mood where the clueless trendy becomes the instrument for the fascist to gain control.
