Having been culturally framed by the accepted schooling and larger society narratives to surround children with: fairy tales, to be able to reread and enjoy their antagonists, fables, against Bettelheim's darkophobic insinuations and statements against them, is to mature and sip an amontillado next to a Poe; and, once I finish with the fables, a Poe and the rest of the amontillado are to be next.
