At the private school he attended, the “blanquito trigueñito” young man was at the top of the class; and in the expensive Guaynabo condo where he lived, a “de rigor” invitee at the parties of the rich, young and well connected; until he moved to Boston, to attend an IV league college, where he realized that his rather provincial self-centered world in Puerto Rico did not prepare him for the discrimination he was going to experience. Luckily, he did not end-up working for Disney in Orlando, like some of his other “blanquito triqueñito” friends.
