Few people enjoy being unmasked. Our need to live in comfort includes not having to face our weaknesses, deliriums, obsessions, control mechanisms, hate or love. When it happens, we find ways to justify our actions; often, in contradiction to what we think are our beliefs. As the Peruvian poet, Gabriela Wiener, says, “no siemore estamos a la altura de nuestras ideas.”
