The Gay Fascist in Montevideo

After watching the USA political debate and reading Giuliani's political suggestions, the issues became very personal and led me to ask why would anyone, much less a person who dedicated his life to fight racism, the unequal share of power and resources would think of dating a gay man who supports Trump, praises Giuliani and admires the military Junta? How dissociated can one become? Why does the need for romance allow the personal history, social and poltical values to be dismissed? Luckily, such contradictions can lead to an emotional and existential crisis that would force some form of redemption or, if possible, a change of heart and lots of questions about the self.
