MY YELLOW TURBAN

The turban is made up of a yellow towel; trying to look like a Hollywoodish blonde bombshell or a recreation of a Flemish “partido” wearing a home made turban, as he was not able to buy the very expensive ones that were brought from Constantinople. Rembrandt wore a few. So did Viscount von Kestaer whenever he went to Amsterdam, to hang out with his groupie, the “progres” of his times; and to plot against the last vestiges of Medieval Europe, the end of the late-gothic rulers in Spain. I am wearing a yellow towel as a turban, to feel my inner groupie, historical or iconic other.
