To use your experiences in an oppressive or full of cruelty situation in order to denounce what has happened is not the same as to use these experiences to continue getting benefits from them or to manipulate the significant others. I have been in both places and, oh well!, I am not only a "J'accuse" socially committed person, I have also been a shameless opportunist that have benefited from my history, "Je m'accuse."
