IDENTITY CRISIS IN THERAPY SESSIONS

No, it’s not the dark hair robe wearing men feeling they are losing control of the world to the Vandals wearing pants in the outskirts of Rome, circa 400 a.c., or the one with the Doris Day looks, around 2020 a.c. in D.C. Of course not, it’s not about the white woman who talks about men in her women’s only therapy sessions, very angry at some men for not feeling fully men inside, because, for whatever reasons, including underdeveloped ovaries sending messages to their brains, saying, just saying, that they feel like women inside, and, honestly and in pain, want to know why. How could it be, that black skin peoples are asking for the reasons, that after so many centuries of colonization, ideological bombardments, physical genocide, want to talk about what has happened to them, and some, not all, want to be pay back for wages deserved, but, for most, all they want is to know. It cannot only be about control, we all know who is still in control, and we all also know the framework for that control, and yes, we all know very well, how they are blaming identity politics as the biggest enemy of social contemporary order, worse than the Vandals in the outskirts of Rome. Some do not like an uneducated -formally uneducated- speaker of Aymara, Quechua and Spanish, telling them, he can talk face to face with the Doris Day look alike in D.C. Not even the black skin inhabitant of that same house would speak to the trilingual -Aymara, Quechua, Spanish- speaker at the time. Of course not, it’s not about identity, but about how some identities still rule the world, and by dismissing the identities of the others, power is granted to some using their own identities to their advantage. Of course not, they do not like to lose control of who takes care of the monies or the official discourses; like the white woman in therapy sessions for women only talking about how men are when compared to women, and identity politics as the reason for the fall of Rome.
