At 1:00 a.m. the old man woke up feeling dense, heavy, incapacitated to get up and go to the bathroom to urinate, desiring not to continue living, to fall back on his bed and never get up again. After forcing his body to move, dragging his feet, moving slowly to the toilet, and cleansing his kidneys, he felt lighter and not longer dark inside, but desiring to yell at someone in particular -name is unnecessary-, “You fucking asshole”, and then went back to bed and slept like an angel.
