She wanted to get rid of him, and because honesty was not her strength, decided to set up a situation that would give her reason to justify her action. A question about justice and sex was the perfect method. His answer, as usual, was direct; not even planned, as they were friends -that is what he thought- and not partners in an enterprise. His response, perhaps, was not necessarily the most logical or well grounded one, but it was what he thought at the moment to be the most appropriate with regards to sex and justice. He fell into her trap, and then she used his answer to justify why she was not longer speaking to him.
